Equipment for Real-Time (RT-) quantitative PCR: Our laboratory is equipped with the Roche LightCycler® Carousel-Based System for quantitiation of nucleic acids by the tube. We also use the ABI Prism® 7900HT, highthroughput real-time PCR system, for quantitation of nucleic acids by plate (384 wells)

Equipment for DNA Sequencing and fragment analysis by Capillary Electrophoresis: Our laboratory is equipped with a 16-capillary electrophoresis instrument from Applied Biosystems (3130xl) DNA Analyzer For high-throughput sequencing and genotyping projects, we use the 96-capillary Applied Biosystems (3730xl) DNA Analyzer.

Platforms for whole-genome genotyping & CNV analysis: The Illumina beadArray Reader: The BeadArray Reader scan 96 hybridized samples in less than 90 minutes. This high throughput, mutiplex scanner is part of the fully integrated Illumina BeadLab platform. Tecan HS 400 ProHybridzation Station: The Tecan HS 400 Pro hybridization station is used for fully automated, highly sensitive, and reproducible glass slide microarray processing.

Equipment for DNA sample storage and archivin: GenVault: Automated DNA sample storage and retrieval. The Dynamic Archive is an automated system for archiving and retrieving DNA 384 well plates stored at room temperature. The system utilizes a robot to access the shuttles that contain trays on which DNA Plates are stored.
